Sweeney Todd was a great surprise to my wife and I and we would have seen it multiple times if we had just seen it earlier in its run in Denver. It’s cast was great and with Robert Petkoff as Sweeney Todd and Linda Mugleston as Mrs. Lovett, it could not have been a more perfect pairing. The music update from Devotchka was what you would have expected with the instrumentation in this era of when the play took place. This was one of those performances that you could have just watched again from the beginning without a break.
